About Emmeline & Company
Emmeline & Company was born from old quilts, a leap of faith, and the women whose names I carry.
I’m Emmeline Victoria, named after my great-grandmothers Margaret Emmeline and Thelma Victoria, and inspired by my grandmother Joyce, a talented painter and sewist.
To honor them, my jacket styles are named after these ladies-the Joyce Jacket, and soon, the Thelma and Margaret collections.
Every piece is hand-cut, hand-crafted, from transforming old and newer quilts into something new to making each fabric yo-yo by hand, one tiny stitch at a time. Wether it's a jacket, hatband, or one of the little details in between, everything is made to feel comforting, familiar, and full of heart.
Each label carries the reminder:
“Angels are watching over you.”
And I believe everyday angels are all around us.🪽
